Your role

In the role of Technician, you will primarily coordinate major repairs of our excavators and drilling machines. You will do this in close collaboration with the department's preparers and planners to procure the right materials and set up a timeline for the maintenance shutdown. The technician has significant responsibility and acts as a project manager during maintenance shutdowns; this includes continuous documentation to compile the final report at the end, as well as leading employees who work more hands-on in the repairs.

Your team

You will work in an engaged team of three employees where collaboration and accountability are central values. The position is a permanent employment. Working hours are primarily during the day but may vary during maintenance shutdowns.

Your tasks

• Inspect before maintenance shutdown and create work orders and determine spare parts to be ordered
• Order machine resources, crane trucks, tractors, and similar
• Book external contractors and prepare documentation for staffing bookings
• Create and develop work instructions in the maintenance system Maximo
• Be responsible for the budget and ensure it is adhered to
• Conduct risk analyses as needed
• Lead other employees during the shutdowns
• Prepare detailed maintenance reports and final reports after the shutdowns
• Evaluation and follow-up meetings after the execution of maintenance shutdowns.

To be qualified for the role, you have:

• High school education
• Mechanical knowledge, preferably from heavy machinery
• Communication skills in Swedish and English
• Driving license B

It is advantageous to have:

• Leadership experience
• Experience with tracked machines
• Experience with maintenance systems/spare parts systems
